The Schladming-Dachstein region is at its best in winter, as it is part of the large Ski Amade ski area. The ski area above Schladming, the 4-Berge-Skischaukel, is named after the four connected ski mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. In about 15 minutes, you can reach the ski lift in Schladming, which takes you directly to the large Schladming-Dachstein ski area. Thanks to its favourable location and excellent snow conditions, an early start to the winter season is guaranteed. 84 modern gondolas and chairlifts, 100 traditional ski huts and around 230 km of perfectly groomed slopes await you throughout the winter. For those looking for an extra adrenaline rush, there are six different fun slopes. The Crosspark on the Reiteralm treats daredevils to a spectacular route that actually ends with a jump over a mountain hut, while in Superpark Planai the obstacles range from easy to challenging and leave nothing to be desired. It is no coincidence that the famous night slalom takes place here every January.

There is plenty to do in and around Schladming in the summer. Naturally, there are extensive walking and cycling routes. Various high mountains offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountain world and invite you to enjoy wonderful day trips through the Alps. In addition, there is a bike park, a swimming pool and plenty of nice shops and restaurants in Schladming. In Radstadt, you will find a beautiful golf course. A day trip could take you to the authentic Hallstatt, the Dachstein glacier or, of course, Salzburg.
